Hagiy - a game about the words we build together
Hagiy means "to spell." It's a fast-paced word-building game played entirely using -Assyrian letters - part Bananagrams, part something entirely its own.
Each player starts with a hand of tiles. Lay a word, right to left, the way it's meant to be read. From there, every player after you must build a new word branching off a letter already on the table - watch the game grow into a shared web of language, one word pulling the next into being.
Inside the box: 164 tiles built for real play, the full alphabet plus vowels and the special word-final letters that give Assyrian its character - enough depth for genuine wordplay, simple enough to pick up in one round.
Hagiy was built for multigenerational community gatherings and diaspora living rooms alike: for grandparents connecting with grandchildren, for classrooms, for anyone who wants the language to stay something people do, not just something people remember.
